About Just Breathe

Welcome!

Just Breathe is a virtual resource hub for stress management with a focus on the extraordinary challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Just Breathe approach to stress management emphasizes self-care, mindfulness, and positive mindset.  Hope Hickerson is the content developer for Just Breathe. She is a health educator and non-Louisiana native but loves gumbo just the same.

30/30 Sessions

Live, synchronous presentations that will cover important topics related to your health and well-being at work and beyond. Thirty minutes will be devoted to the presentation of a topic or specific content area, and thirty minutes will remain reserved for questions and/or discussion.

We all need a break from the grind of the day, so the breakroom will offer an unstructured virtual space for staff to connect and unwind together.

Brief 3-5 minute video clips featuring tips on stress management, look for these in your email or on our YouTube channel (coming soon). Micro-services will feature topics on self-care, mindfulness, and healthy mindset.

Stress Management On Demand

Your favorite streaming service isn’t the only place with content on-demand. Stress Management will release a psychoeducational webinar specific to your needs and stressors that you can enjoy on your own schedule every other Sunday.
