About the Event
Do you wake up ready to start your day or would you rather go back to sleep? Do you have a sense of purpose or do you find how you spend much of your day to be meaningless? The New York Times published an article last month about the concept of Languishing, a sense of stagnation and emptiness. It feels as if you’re muddling through your days, looking at your life through a foggy windshield. And the article posed that it might be the dominant emotion of 2021.
They followed up with an article about Flourishing. The psychology community describes “flourishing” as a kind of mental and emotional fitness that is the exact opposite of languishing.
In this 30/30 we will review the NYT articles and discuss ways to inject activities to help with finding more flourishing.
